⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING: Installing pearOS NiceC0re will completely erase your disk, just like an official macOS installation. This process is irreversible and will permanently delete all your data, applications, and operating system.
Before proceeding:
• Backup ALL important data to external storage or cloud
• Prepare a USB drive with another operating system in case the installation fails
• Ensure you have a stable internet connection for recovery options
• Double-check that you're installing on the correct device

Hardware Requirements
- 64-bit processor
- 2 GB RAM minimum (4 GB recommended)
- 20 GB free disk space
- Graphics card with OpenGL 2.1

Common Issues
Solutions to frequently encountered installation problems
Boot Issues
If your system won't boot from USB, try these solutions:
- • Disable Secure Boot in BIOS/UEFI settings
- • Change boot mode from UEFI to Legacy (or vice versa)
- • Try a different USB port (preferably USB 2.0)
- • Recreate the bootable USB with a different tool
Installer Crashes
If the new Electron installer is unstable:
- • Try the manual installation method instead
- • Report the issue on our support page
- • Check system logs for error details
- • Ensure you have sufficient RAM available
Graphics Issues
For systems with graphics problems:
- • Boot with "nomodeset" kernel parameter
- • Install proprietary graphics drivers after installation
- • Use integrated graphics during installation
- • Check hardware compatibility list
